The beach of Nora is located close to the archaeological site and the small medieval church of Sant’Efisio. It has white, mixed grain sand, enclosed by a rock formation, and its waters are shallow and therefore ideal for families with children. It has many facilities: a bar-restaurant and a bathing establishment where it is possible to rent beach umbrellas, sun loungers and pedal boats.

I Fichi

It is also part of the beach of Nora. It has a seabed of fine sand and the occasional rock, clear and shallow waters. It gets its name from the numerous plants of fig trees that grow in close proximity to the beach.

Su Guventeddu

Close to the beach of Nora, it has a sandy beach of around 700 mt long. It is characterised by limpid, crystal clear waters, and offers intensely evocative views of the far off Tower of Coltellazzo and, to the left, the islet of San Macario.

Charming, friendly stay

Easy to find from the bus stop coming from Cagliari, Hotel Marin was a great base for a 5 day stay in Pula. Very nicely decorated - love the bright colours - and clean, friendly and helpful reception staff and nice breakfasts. Good air conditioning, as it was still quite warm in mid September. Good value and would certainly recommend it. Short walk into the middle of the town for eateries and all the rest. Nice sitting out area at the back of the hotel. Easy to walk to the historic site and beaches at Nora and the bus stop to go to the beaches at Chia is close too.
